Hazardous Waste. Extremely Dangerous. Hydrofluoric acid (not to be confused with hydrochloric acid, which is much more common) is extremely dangerous. It is used in glass etching and some other applications. Skin exposure in certain volumes and concentrations can result in bone and limb damage and in some case death.
